Walking & Drawing on the Beach
1999 > Jim Denevan makes huge sanddrawings on the beach. The drawings are unmeasured, freehand and are made without surveying equipment or help from technical means. Enormous, existing for a moment, then washed away. By now Jim has completed more than 11,000 miles of over a period of 6 years.
